Are stun guns legal?

Stun guns are legal in most states.  However, some states do restrict them, and for that reason we cannot sell/ship to those states.  Here's a general list of states and cities with restrictions:

STATES THAT STUNNING DEVICES ARE RESTRICTED:

* HAWAII
* ILLINOIS
* MASSACHUSETTS
* MICHIGAN
* NEW JERSEY
* NEW YORK
* RHODE ISLAND
* WISCONSIN

CITIES WHERE STUNNING DEVICES ARE RESTRICTED:

* ANNAPOLIS, MD
* BALTIMORE, MD
* BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD
* DENSION / CRAWFORD COUNTY, IA (*According to Sheriff Tom Hogan*)
* DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
* PHILADELPHIA

Click here for a detailed listing of state restrictions.  Please note that while we try our best to keep this list as updated as possible, it may not be an all-inclusive list.  It will be up to you to check and obey your local laws regarding stun guns and pepper spray.

Is pepper spray legal?

We consider pepper spray to be legal.  Read more about pepper spray laws here.

When does pepper spray expire?

It's hard to pinpoint an exact date that your pepper spray expires.  A general rule of thumb is to replace your pepper spray every 2 years, even if you have never used it.  However, if your pepper spray is frequently exposed to or left in extreme hot/cold weather (which you should NEVER do), you may want to replace it more often.

How can I test my pepper spray?

Your pepper spray should be test fired every 6 months.  Simply flip the top or open the case and press the button for about one second.  Be sure not to test it in an enclosed area or near any people or pets.

When will my order be shipped?

Most orders are shipped within 48 hours; many are shipped on the very same day.  However, in some rare instances your order may take up to 4 business days to process.

Orders placed after 5 PM EST on Fridays will not be processed until the following business day.  Orders placed on holidays will not be processed until the following business day.

How will my order be shipped?

We ship via USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post for nearly every order.  We have special shipping & handling arrangements with them; that's why we can offer such inexpensive shipping.

If you require special shipping services (i.e. Next Day, gift wrap, etc), please notify us prior to placing your order so we can notify our shipping department.

If you choose not to use the standard shipping method we choose, we will ask you to cover the difference in cost.
